To England... and how!

We had good plans to go by airplane, but as more often happens when someone needs a wheelchair and/or assistance: I was removed from the list of passengers.
So we had no other option than leaving a day earlier than planned, with the Flixbus.

It used to be a rather convenient way of travelling, but it has changed into an uncomfortable way of moving towards London.
Hardly place for my upper legs... so S. couldn't even fit in.
Luckily he ended up using one of the front seats.

We were so happy when the bus was finally allowed to go on board.

The photos are bad,
due to a bad camera.
Sorry.

Just regard them as art...LOL!

Something was drifting on the water.
Looked like floating ice...

Ofcourse I went outside a while,
but it was windy and cold,
and I got into a conversation
with a nice woman.

The camera didn't even take the white Cliffs of Dover well.

Grrrrr...

But I was so happy to see them!
After the accident I thought
I would never see the sight again.

We entered London from a different direction.
 Straight to Lambeth Road,
passing the Imperial War museum, u
sing Lambeth Bridge,
through Horseferry Road
to Victoria Bus Station.

Of course I noticed this:

At Victoria Bus Station
The birds walked even through the coffeeshop!

Took the Coach to Basingstoke,
sat in the sun between the flowers
and were fetched by JJ.

Thanks!!!!
