It was not allowed to photograph
the special exhibition
about Jane Austen
and her friendship with Anne Lefroy
.

We saw the Winchester Bible.
another exhibition that couldn't be photographed,
which is a pity.
The enormous work and the perfection of the handwriting!

William Walker
About 1900 water undermined
the foundations of the cathedral.
To prevent a collaps
the deep-sea diver William Walker,
worked every day
during 6 years
under water
to place bags with concrete.
This statue is outside,
there is also a small statue inside.
